Jess Jacobson

Director

Director of Best Four, Jess Jacobson brings expansive knowledge and connections from 18 years of NCAA Division 1, 2, and 3 coaching experience, as well as elite insight from coaching professional fastpitch with the 2024 WPF Champions, the Texas Smoke. Jess leads her pitching staffs with an athlete-centered and holistic approach. She also shares her knowledge by growing and empowering the softball community as a returning developmental softball coach for MLB Develops, working alongside former Olympians, current college coaches, and masters of the game to improve the national impact RBI programs have on the softball space. As a mother herself, Jess knows what it is like to want the best for your daughter and has fostered an environment where both the athlete and parent can navigate the challenges of recruiting, bridging the communication barrier many families face along the path towards college athletics.

Since taking a step away from college athletics, Jess has developed unique and personal recruiting services based out of Northern NJ that provide athletes with one-of-a-kind resources and guidance to propel their athletic careers to the collegiate level at programs that are the right fit for achievement of their goals and aspirations. Her services include skill video creation, communication coaching, and tailored college planning to match athletes with programs aligned to their goals and values. With a passion for mentoring, Jacobson tailors methods of communication to each athlete so she can steer them towards solutions that not only will assist in their college recruitment, but allow them to grow as a person and athlete as a whole.  Accessible to Best Four clients is a digital database of educational videos, materials, and templates to help you learn and master the foundations of recruiting.
